    Update 5 is supposed to be for 10.6.4 and above, but even when downloaded direct from the apple site or any other source fails and says 10.6.8 is required. To get to 10.6.8 from 10.6.4 requires and apple update of the entire system in one huge download and install. No thanks. I have done entire system updates like this before on other machines in 10.5 and had much higher latency in garage band after, which i use a lot. Just say apple flunked this one and hope they don't drive me away with these let downs. Looking like my next machine is an android...
