    Probably THE best media conversion software I've come across, free or otherwise. Cannot recommend highly enough.

    It runs on an old G3 iMac, it runs well, it doesn’t hog so much RAM that everything else bogs down that, it converts files that ffmpegX and iSquint won’t touch, and it’s free — all of which makes it by far the most useful freeware video converter I’ve come across. If this program offered the option to encode XviD videos, I wouldn’t even need any other video converters.

    Gets the job done with only a slight degradation in quality. Surprised it is being offered for what it is offered for.
