10.2 Have a problem with itunes contantly trying to access the itunes store, even with genesis and side bar off. This make search the store impossible. Not a good marketing tool.

For a company that prides itself on user-friendly GUIs, I don\'t understand how Aoole coulg let such a busy, hard-to-use app onto the market. Maybe the company should consult with Adobe and get some help.

Made the mistake of upgrading to itunes 9.02.
The podcast list is now replaced by icons and, as far as I have been able to tell, you can't display a full podcast list qua list with expandable episode lists, just lists within each podcast ... otherwise just a page of grinning icons. Bah.

I HATE the new iTunes! Everything is different and extremely hard to understand. It is too confusing and very difficult to use.

I have a very large mp3 music library set up in hundreds of folders created over ten yrs. Itunes will not allow me to access my files in a workable format and now it has reformated all, that all, of my my MP3 files into "YMP.Media" !!! without even asking if I wanted to convert files.

I am beyond pissed. Does anyone know of a way to run my musice on my iphone without iTunes?

After installing 8.1, I noticed the Podcast info window could not be closed since it had no traffic lights or cancel. Upgrading to 8.1.1 did not help. The only way to close it is to exit i-tunes. Anyone know a fix for this? Thanks.

I was forced to upgrade my Nano because I wanted to download a free copy of Twilight. I had the hardest time setting up the itunes account. I kept receiving error messages - then finally when I go to back out I'm informed that my account had been set up. So I redeem my codes (three in all). I wait forever for the download only to have Twilight missing. I was able to get the special and exclusive features into the Nano.

Also the rotten upgrade adversely affected how the Nano functions. Pictures I had attached to songs have been removed. 101 songs were removed and my library is out of wack!

I upgraded one other time (several versions ago). My library vanished and I swore back then I'd never upgrade. The fact that I have a malfuctioning device and no movie pisses me off.

I just want to know why a simple upgrade can't be done smoothly. Twice now the downgrades have burned me. The first time this happened was to my Shuffle. Luckily I've never purchased an Itunes device. I won the Shuffle and the Nano was a gift. I plan to never buy a Itunes player. What's the point? My sister loves her Zune. I'll switch to the compettion.

Do NOT use this version if you have a Shuffle 2nd Gen. New items are not added in order. You cannot play from the Shuffle within iTunes. As for remembering where you were in an audiobook - forget it!! You will have to fast forward your way through the chapters to get to the right place - and everyone knows this is one of the drawbacks of the Shuffle. Stick to 8.0

iTunes would be great, if it wasn't ridiculously slow. Obviously this program was ported to windows, but far from optomized for it. There is an almost two second delay between the time I switch to iTunes, and when the application "highlights" from receiving the focus. I just don't understand how apple thinks this program is acceptable for iPod owners. I'm glad I don't own one. Let's not also forget to mention that it's bloated as heck.

Quite frankly, the new iTunes is a bit...bad. It's much more difficult to use as everything is no longer simplistic (for example, there are two arrows instead of one next to the title of a song - the new arrow changes it to "Grid" mode...wtf???) and everything is more difficult to use (wanna set a song on repeat? Instead of habitually clicking "Control" and finding it easily, it's now under a new name.

    DO NOT upgrade. Please.

I love iTunes but frankly I am very pissed off, all the info says that this is compatible with OS 10.3.9 and newer. I have 10.4.8 and cannot update OSX because I have music production software that will not run on the newer versions of OSX. I updated iTunes and now it tells me when I try to run it that I need to upgrade my OSX to 10.4.9 for iTunes to work, What the F#*k?!? that sucks! and now I can't find a Mac OS version of 7.5 to install again, I'm pissed. :(
