Have had great success with BookSmart until 2 days ago. My files went missing ... what the heck??? I've been working on the same book for days & all of a sudden I open up BookSmart & they're not there! The only thing I did previous to opening BookSmart was install an iTunes update. I know - this shouldn't have been an issue but apparently it was. I have now found the missing files but can not for the life of me get them linked to BookSmart so I can continue with my holiday project. Any suggestions?

iTunes is playing a rock song and this thing finds lyrics for a rap song. So far has only found lyrics correctly twice.

@Peter: Go to the Security preference pane and disable the "Require password to wake this computer from sleep or screen saver". That worked for me when I got the black screen while my Mac was running the LotsaWater screen saver ;)

I'm still running Leopard (10.5.8) and am confused with the screen saver's performance. When I 'test' the screen saver from the system preferences setup the rippling effect clearly overlaps the existing screen backround but when i let the screen saver start normally (after 3mins of screen inactivity) the rippling still takes place but the background is all black. My sleep settings are set for 15 mins. Is there some other setting i need to fix? Otherwise it looks like a great app

Have use it professionally for several PCB's and are pleased with it.
There are some quirks, but every EDA software has them. Overall it is easy to use and gets the job done for small and medium size boards.

Pointless. It doesn't work for all sites, especially the ones I need it for! The "f2" icon stays stubbornly red.

Does not mention that you have to install Rosetta to have it work, why have a Mac when you have to run Rosetta for software like this, you might as well go back to a pc!

I like to have photo records of my adventures in Second Life, partly so I can remember them. When I was a PC person, I used Time Snapper. But I switched to a Mac, and was unable to find a good program to do what I want: take screen captures automatically at a specified interval. Then I found MonitorMyMac, and it is awesome! It works perfectly and is very easy to use. Now I can go into SL using OS X, instead of using Time Snapper in Parallels. Thanks, MonitorMyMac!

The game is in-development. Up to version 0.72 you need the original 2CD Imperium Galactica to run it. Version 0.72 lets you check out the Starmap and allows you to build anything on planets, but no AI, gameplay or anything else. Just presentation.
The first two images are for version 0.8 which will let the user perform some customization. The third image is part of a video player designed to play the ANI files in the original game's directories. The playlist will search for all of these files and gives the ability to export the audio in WAV and the frames in PNG format in a batch.

I really can't make an opinion because I can't download the Canon Printer Drivers for Mac OS X 10.6 2.1. It keeps saying it is a Windows drive when I download. Very annoying.

Now I have a Canon Pixmar MP620 that will not scan. Suggestions.

This little app is fantastic. Couldn't be easier and perfect for what I need to do - transfer cassettes to wav file on a Mac.

Directions would help many users: Downloads to the "download" folder within your general documents folder. Click on "Add Ons" under the drop-down "Tools" menu in TB. Click on the "install" button and navigate to the "download" sub-folder containing the add-on .ipx file downloaded from the site. Works flawlessly!

This is the best personal financial software I've used. It is comprehensive, fast and easy to use. SEE Finance supports functions that other personal software doesn't even address, such as bonds, options, sector exposure graphs, etc. The only shortfall it has is reporting and I'm sure that they are hard at work on improving it. SEE has the most responsive technical support I've ever dealt with. They listen and they care. I've dumped Quicken in favor of SEE and couldn't be happier.

I have an older version of Maclink Plus Deluxe....and work in Mac....OS 10X 4.6.11

My first version of VMware was useless. I run a program that is designed for a PC and uses a hardware key. VMware will not recognize the hardware key. I doubt that the update will be better.

There is nothing usable in the download. It can't be opened. Is this even a Mac driver? I'm in the Mac section. Not helpful at all and I've wasted half an hour going through the stupid registration process.

XLD is, in my opinion, the best Mac ripping and encoding software.

Its developers do an amazing job to keep it up to date with the latest technologies, and it supports a lot of them.

It was the first Mac encoding software to use the true VBR capability of CoreAudio (even iTunes 9 does constrain VBR), and tags files accordingly (it shows XLD's quality setting AND QuickTime's version, whereas Max only shows its own version, witch we don't care as it is essentially a GUI).

It can recreate folders order, use as many cpu core as you like, check for metadata online, provides secure and accurate ripping, use the latest encoding technologie and is very configurable.

Great piece of software!

I loved this screensaver in Tiger and Leopard, however it is grayed out in System Preferences and will not work in Snow Leopard, even though I am using version 0.99. If it worked, I'd be using it as my main screensaver...
