Nothing says it's for Macs except the "Remove the DNSChanger Trojan Horse, also known as OSX.RSPlug.A and OSX/Puper from your Mac." and the "Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later" parts...

When I clicked to download, it gave me another page with another download button for a mirror site, which I clicked and it did nothing, so I used the "click here if download doesn't start" button, which then returned a 404 page error, but then I got the save dialog to download the file.

The file was a *.dmg file, which is pretty worthless on a PC.

CardRaider is a must for any person who uses Mac and owns a digital camera, consumer or professional. I have used it multiple times to save priceless photos that I either deleted from the card by accident or from issues with iPhoto saying the photos transferred and then crashing only to discover that the photos are no where to be found. Unfortunately, Permanent Eraser 2.5.3 could not be used on my 2000 IMAC with OS X!
I received a warning (I tried to run it twice): "your hard disk has no more space available for application memory Further application disk activity may have been suspended." (Indeed it was!) This is very disappointing, as I wanted to donate this computer (it still runs fine). Why would it take more disk space to overwrite the existing files that were in the trash?
Any ideas or suggestions?

I just tried it and it looks very interesting and powerful... BUT... I have a question: could you help me, I have the trial version and I cannot drag and drop the images of the library... is it normal, or I have a problem with my system, maybe? thank you for helping me... :-)

We use an application for our genealogy work called Reunion. According to the vendor, the application must be closed before the backup is made by Time Machine. If not, the vendor says the restored files will appear corrupted. Today I attach an external USB drive and run Time Machine. This method works, because I control when to run Time Machine. I am going to purchase a Time Capsule, so now the Time Machine backups will be running automatically. This means I could have many bad files in the backup, since we have the Reunion app is open almost all the time.

Can I use your app to control when Time Machine will run, so I can quit Reunion prior to running your app?

Now that I had a chance to review it, how do I uninstall it ? It works perfectly but I just want to delete it.

This doesn't work with Thunderbird 3.1.6 -- but the error message says..."Recovery deleted messages could not be installed because it is not compatible with Firefox 4.01.1"!!!!

In response to the previous users comment: "This might be a good app but there are no instructions about what to do after start up. I installed the app on both my laptops and set up the database in dropbox but then what? Starting up stickies does not seem to do anything?"

Just restart each of the computers after the install and everything syncs.

Well. I agree with mr wright. I downloaded this long ago, and it never managed to get a qr code to scan on my old imac.. But I got a new imac with a facetime camera, and it still doesn't render the codes. was hoping there would be an update by now.

Unfortunately this once great software no longer works on recent OS X versions.

No documentation on how to use this program. It is simple enough to figure out, but all of the features do not work. For example: Days left to reach your goal does not work ... perhaps the documentation on how to use this feature would help... Oh wait, there is none! Very disappointed.

Awkward to use, but generally does what it's supposed to. My only complaint is that I am unable to create ladder-only runeword effects. Perhaps I just haven't figured out how yet, but there's not a read-me or any meaningful guide, so....
