iResize For Mac

iResize is a free and straightforward Mac utility labeled as "donationware", and designed for resizing and renaming multiple image files at the same time.

The application features a simple and intuitive user interface that includes the Image List, Image Viewer and Options windows. To add images, you can just drag and drop selected files onto the Image List, or use the "Add or Remove Images…" button on the bottom panel of the Image List.

You will be able to preview each image in the Image Viewer and rotate them to 90, 180, or 270 degrees. Every image can be saved with a different rotation.

Another notable feature is the ability to adjust the JPEG compression for each of your pictures. iResize also includes a JPEG compression test window which allows you to adjust and preview the JPEG quality of images and in real-time.

If you don't like the brightness levels of your original images, you can change it from a drop-down in the Options window. Numerous values are available: from -25 to + 25.

What's more, the utility comes with an option to batch rename the pictures you want to resize. The renaming process can also include sequential numbers, a separator as well as text at the end of the file name.
