  • iPod.iTunes 4.9 is designed to make it incredible obvious how much and where content is missing in the iTunes library.
  • Categories show you how much media items the category has, and how much are missing in iTunes.
  • Playlists do the same for playlist entries.
  • Copying is super simple: select one or more playlists, categories, media items or playlist entries and click the Transfer button (or just hit the Return key).
  • During copy, iPod.iTunes gives full feedback what's currently copied. Also, all items states are live updated.
  • During copy, you can add more playlists/playlist entries or media items to the copy process.
  • Seamless transfer: No matter if you select entire playlist or only desired playlist entries - iPod.iTunes will create the necessary things in your iTunes library without creating duplicates.
  • Notable differences for users of older releases:
  • Single playlist copy (previous releases synchronized all playlists together).
  • Media items, playlists and playlists entries are shown directly in the app. iTunes is no longer required for this.
  • The whole workflow is completely different - very obvious and much faster.
  • The user interface is much more responsive. As an example, clicking “Cancel” during copying responds immediately, thanks to threaded copying.

This can be done directly from within iPod.iTunes now. If the button is active it means it must be clicked before unplugging the iPods cable.
