  • New Feature: Better support for different archive versions. Zip View now supports .zip, .zipx, .zip in compatibility mode, .zip with AES 128 encryption, .zip with AES 256 encryption as well as .rar and .jar. Including better support for password protected files.
  • UI Improvement: Drag and drop files and folders to uncompress them. It's now possible to drag and drop files and folders from Zip View into Finder to uncompress the items.
  • UI Improvement: Uncompress Archive / Uncompress Selected. If no items are selected, the default action is to uncompress the entire archive. When items are selected, only those selected will be uncompressed.
  • UI Improvement: Context Menu. Right clicking on an item gives the options to Uncompress entire archive or selected items to a folder, Uncompress entire archive or selected items to a temporary folder or to view the selected items with Quick Look.
  • UI Improvement: Copy (using the menu or standard copy shortcut key) selected items or the entire archive from Zip View and paste into a folder in Finder.
  • UI Improvement: Quick Folder Navigation: The folder navigation along the top of the application's window allows for quick access to sub folders. Right-clicking on a navigation folder displays all the sub-folders.
  • UI Improvement: A Quick Look icon now shows at the bottom of the window. Clicking this button (or the Space key) when items are selected will display them in Quick Look.
  • UI Improvement: The Application's window title is now set to the filename of the archive. Right-clicking on this title shows the full path to the opened archive file.
  • UI Improvement: Full screen support. This is a OS X Lion only feature.
  • UI Improvement: Double-clicking a file will open it in the default editor for that file type.
  • Enhancement: Zip View now has better support for archive containing accented characters in file names.
