New in Wimoweh 1.1.47 Beta (Mar 10, 2015)

  • Stay awake based on process name: Initial support for name (or partial name) matching of processes. If you’ve got a job which spawns multiple processes and you want to stay awake for any / all of them, a transcoder job for example, then Wimoweh will now watch for those rather than relying solely on the current PID based approach for non windowed processes
  • CPU Temperature: Unfortunately this functionality has been removed and won’t be developed further. Apple refuse to support the techniques required to interface to their hardware sensors in the App Store.

  • Network service availability: WImoweh will check the local network for various network services (currently, ssh, afp, smb, airplay, xbmc, workstation, homesharing and music) and if the host and service is selected will stay awake as long as the service is available on that host. This is useful if you’re streaming / moving data to and from hosts on your network.
