It gives you the Latin text of the official hymn for the Hour, with a literal English translation next to it so that you can understand the Latin. There is also a short commentary. You will see a menu button for this, next to the hymn heading.

- In the Office of Readings, there is a new option button next to the First Reading, letting you use the two-year cycle of readings rather than the one-year cycle from the printed books. The two-year cycle was promised when the Liturgy of the Hours was revised in 1970, but it was found to be too expensive to print. Even if you're not interested in the rest of the Office of Readings, why not make a point of reading the First Reading each day? It is a wonderful resource.

- For all users – When you changed from one Hour to another, Universalis moved its window to a fixed size and place on the screen, which was irritating. It doesn't do this any more.
