  • When assigning multiple catalog labels that have GPS attached to them then the one will be used with the smallest radius. If multiple exists with the same smallest radius then the lowest in the catalog hierarchy is used.

  • GEO Tagging:
  • The GEO Tagging Panel makes it easy to pin point your images on the map and add location details by doing online lookups. It also supports tagging with GPX tracks. With Favorites you can reuse your frequently used locations.
  • Location details are also mapped and stored to the IPTC Extension fields.
  • In the Import Module you can use GPX tracks.
  • There are new Batch commands for GEO removal, GEO Reverse Lookups, and GPX tagging.
  • Area Tagging:
  • You can specify areas of the image and optionally link a “people” catalog label to an area. Areas can be read from both Metadata Working Group regions, and Microsoft Regions.
  • When writing areas to the metadata, then they are written in the most standardized MWG format.
  • Multi Selections:
  • In every section of the CATALOG, it is possible to make multiple selections. This makes it convenient to perform repetitive operations, whether that’s drag & drop, copy/cut/paste operations, delete, move, or just quickly select several items for display.
  • In addition to multiple selections in the CATALOG, version 2 also brings multiple selection in the Grid view.
  • Sharing:
  • The Sharing Panel provides instant access to the profile details by right clicking on the icon. Profiles can also be duplicated.
  • You can not only opt to keep/remove metadata but when you keep metadata it’s now also possible to specify if EXIF or GEO coordinates should be removed
  • or not.
  • When Flickr is your favorite sharing site then you can create Portfolios and keep those in-sync with your Flickr account. When synchronizing a Portfolio, Photo Supreme will create Flickr collections, Flickr photo sets, add descriptions, tags, etc. And when you re-sync the portfolio, Photo Supreme will only upload changes, remove deleted images, and add new images. This new full Flickr-Sync service makes it a breeze to keep your Flickr pages up to date.
  • Image Details:
  • It is possible to copy/paste image details to other images, even select which of the fields should be copied.
  • For copyright purposes, version 2 embeds Creative Commons to allow more standardized copyright and usage terms.
  • Cascade Version Info:
  • When working with version sets, you can opt to cascade Image Details, Ratings, and/or Color Labels from one image to all other images in a set.
  • More Performance:
  • Scrolling thumbnails is faster, large sets load faster, assigning/revoking catalog labels is faster, and many other performance improvements.
  • Grid Display:
  • You can work with multiple selections, the display is optimized to contain more rows, you can move columns around, and your custom fields will also appear as grid columns. Of course columns can be toggled on and off.
  • Portfolio Improvements:
  • You can organize the images inside a portfolio by dragging them to a new position. When you’re using version sets then you can now select which version should be used for the Portfolio. This makes it more flexible to control which version from a version set is to be used.
  • FOLDERS:
  • You can select which of your folders should be displayed as the top-level folder. You can select a top level folder for every drive that you maintain in Photo Supreme.
