· CPU Performance Update.
· Since the introduction of Orbiter's Vanish feature, the CPU load had dramatically increased even as the program just sat in the background. This was due to several time-driven events in need of severe optimization. One of our users reported CPU activity by as much as 50% of total capacity.
· This update focuses solely on reducing CPU load and minimizing events when Orbiter is not frontmost. In the near future, we will be refining much of Orbiter's core code to further reduce processor demand and increase performance, for now we wanted to solve this problem without delays.
