  • Allow for multiple cylindrical best fits, conical fits, and mean vectors. This is useful for comparing fits to different datasets.
  • If in default view, change the background grid when entering lines or planes as poles (picking great circle) on the plot. This provides an intuitive understanding of the stereonet.
  • Emailed data from iPhone Apps StereonetMobile and FaultKinMobile by Richard Allmendinger can be imported to Stereonet3D as a text file.
  • Add a Slip Sense column to lines datasets to specify sense of slip of striae on fault plane.
  • Under the Plot menu, new fault slip analysis group of menus including: a. HW slip direction, b. Movement planes, c. Tangent lineation, d. T and P axes, e. Unweighted Moment tensor sum, and fault plane solution.
