  • This build should fix an issue in 2.6.5 that caused crashes on non-US systems. You may need to delete the preferences to get things working again: http://support.multimarkdown.com/kb/troubleshooting/location-for-composer-preferences-and-settings. Also, there seems to be a problem in OS 10.9.1 (or maybe 10.9 as well) that messes with preferences. You may want to restart before trying to delete the preferences.
  • NOTE: The Metadata HUD has still not been finalized, so it is not included in this build. If you’re interested in testing it, it is still available in the beta release of 2.5

  • NOTE: One change that may confuse you at first — Cmd-Shift-M is the keyboard shortcut for the new HUD. It was formerly assigned to applying CriticMarkup highlighting. That has been changed to Cmd-Shift-H (“Highlight”).

  • fixed bug where closing document in Lion would sometimes cause a crash
  • "MultiMarkdown Composer" now shows up in the "Force Quit Applications" dialog box

  • flaw fixed in the `greg` parser that could cause occasional crashes, but apparently only in certain documents (thanks to Ali Rantakari!)
  • changing the font in the preferences changes the old text, and new text
  • You no longer have to "tab out" of the text boxes in preferences to force an update
  • You can now hit return at the beginning of a header to move it down a row
  • A list item with a colon in it no longer gets interpreted as metadata
  • Toggling the "justify" preferences no longer requires reloading the document
  • Typing cmd-I, then cmd-Z now deletes the "**"
  • some problems with Undo management were fixed
