- New iCloud support. Reminders can be stored in iCloud or locally. When stored in iCloud reminders will then be accessible from other machines running MenuMinder with the same iCloud account enabled.
- New sort types: sort the menu and preview display by the time reminders fired or modified.
- New option to not truncate reminders in menu display to show them in their entirety.
- New document support: Reminders can be saved into “Reminder Sets” that can later be opened, replacing the current set of reminders. This is a convenient way to group, share and save reminders.
- New “Preview” menu item has been added for viewing all the reminders in the Print window.
- New: Items can be deleted from the menu using new submenu items.
- New: Reminders that fire (expire) are no longer deleted automatically. Instead they can be removed from the queue quickly using its "Delete" submenu item.
- New: In the Options popup for each reminder editor there is a new method for selecting repeating intervals as every minute, hour, day, week or month.
- The "Crazy Text" feature has been incorporated directly into the app and no longer implemented as a TextEdit script.
New in MenuMinder 4.2.4 (Feb 5, 2015)
- If there is a text selection in a 'New Reminder' window, then the 'Crazy Text' feature will only apply to that selected text, otherwise it will apply to all the text in the text view.
- 'Find' fixed: Search in the text views of 'New Reminder', 'Reminder Alert' and 'Print' windows is now implemented as a 'font bar' inside the text view rather than with a font panel. Use the arrow buttons in the search bar to move to each occurrence. Also, incremental search has been enabled (the search field sends an action message at each keystroke.) You can type Command-F to search.
- Tip: You can search your reminders by selecting 'Print...' from the Options menu item. When the Print window opens type Command-F to open the search bar. Use the arrow buttons adjacent to the search field to move between instances of the search query.
New in MenuMinder 4.2.3 (Jan 13, 2015)
- Added the ability to delete a rescheduled reminder from its reminder alert window, and changed the window level of reminders so they do not obscure any alerts.
- The Rich Text option for menu items is now ON by default. This option enables menu items to display a portion of the reminder "as is" and include graphics. This option can be turned OFF from the "Options" menu item's submenu in the menu.
- Added 'Crazy Text' buttons to the new reminder windows that run an AppleScript for TextEdit that creates a rich text version of the reminder where every character has a random font, size and color.
- Added a reminder sound popup menu in the Misc. section of the Customize pane of Preferences for selecting from a wide variety of built-in sounds to be played when a reminder alert occurs.
- Added random alert sound selection option, as a checkbox near the sound selection popup. When this option is on MenuMinder will randomly pick an alert sound!

- Fixed a problem with Calendar event importing. Certain events that shared an "event identifier" were being overwritten on import since they were considered the same event. More information is now used to distinguish events from each other.
- Fixed automatic updates: The app now updates once everyday. This way reminders contain a full week of events relative to the current day.

- The number of outgoing reminder emails queued is displayed in the menu's title in the menu bar.
- If there are outgoing messages queued the app will warn you if you try to quit.
- The reminder windows have a new button for setting the date to a maximum value so that the reminder essentially will never fire, enabling MenuMinder to function as a "To Do" list for some items.
