Search the online Archives. Directly from Heredis. - Everything is within reach directly from your software: departmental and municipal archives, military records and libraries, in all around the world. The new online archive tool will help you retrieve documents online without leaving your software.
Capture your acts. Associate them in your genealogy. - Realize captures of acts with one click and save them to your software. Associate them with events and bring your sources up-to-date with already pre-filled information entered by this tool. It is surprisingly simple!
Enhance the readability of your documents. - Capture your acts. Associate them in your genealogy.
Launch a contextual search. - Start a search from the file of a person about whom you have some information. Heredis automatically lists the corresponding online archives for the information already entered. Convenient for finding related acts.
Identify people in a photo. - Capture faces and identify the person in the picture by connecting them with persons in your file or create new persons. The images will be automatically saved in the file of the persons and may be saved to your computer.
Put a name to an unknown face. - If you do not recognize a person in the photo, publish or print this document: during visits to your family, the people around you will enjoy your work and perhaps identify unknown persons in the group photo.
Capture signatures. - Illustrate your genealogy by capturing the signatures of your ancestors for display in their portrait. An ideal tool for enriching your genealogy.
Integrated photo editing tools. - If your pictures are not perfect, you can correct them. Crop or rotate an image, enhance the colors or convert your color photos into beautiful black and white photographs.

Heredis Online: your online photo albums. - You will have real online albums, which may be searched by your family, friends and other genealogists: captured pictures where visitors can identify unknown persons in any photo. Indeed, Heredis Online allows for you to be contacted by anyone who is interested in your family photos.
Launch beautiful slideshows. - Convert your photos into beautiful slideshows for showing your genealogical pictures. Choose the theme which will sublimate your photos, all to music.
The Heredis updates are simple. You install your new Heredis. You open your genealogy in the new version and you find everything that you have already entered. There is virtually nothing to do. The installation of a new version of Heredis has no impact on your genealogical files that you can open automatically with the new version.
And Android ? - At last! Heredis will offer a free genealogy application for Android in 2015… We cannot yet give you an exact date because we are in the development phase. We fully understand your enthusiasm and we strive to respond as quickly as possible to your expectations. Be assured that it will be fully compatible with the 2015 version of Heredis. So be patient, the year is already well-advanced.

SEARCH WIZARD. This highly innovative feature allows you to take a look at where you are in your research and highlights known or missing items from your genealogy. It suggests different ways forward and proposed various online research tools targeted to websites such as Heredis Online, Ancestry, My Heritage...
EXTENDED FAMILY VIEW. This new and more comprehensive view of your family shows its composition as a whole: siblings, remarriage, stepchildren, step- brothers and step-sisters, children from other unions of the different partners... noting or not when they belong to the direct lineage.

You may filter only the branch ends, or only complete persons, or only those persons for whom further research is required. You can hide already complete persons or sort by modification date.
