  • This update includes a work-around for a problem on Facebook that could cause event invites to fail due to a web server redirection error.

  • Friend acquisition has been improved. It appears that Facebook’s Graph API randomly drops friends, this has been fixed by switching to a different API.

  • This update adds support for login notifications and login approvals for accounts that use them.
  • Also added is a feature to enable or disable use of Facebook’s API for sending event invites. If you are having trouble sending event invites you may have better results when you don't use the API to send them. You can find this option in the “General” pane of the preferences.
  • Friend counts are now updated in the Pro version. Previously you would only see friends counts for people if you had actually downloaded them.
  • It’s now possible to update comments for several people, pages, or groups at the same time. The option is available from a pop-up menu, right-click on a selection and choose “Edit Comment…”.
  • Several bugs have been fixed and compatibility updated with the latest changes from Facebook.

  • This update fixes problems running on Mac OS X 10.6 with a new crypto library. Inverse relationships for likes have been re-implemented (hopefully without any significant impact on performance). Several under the hood optimizations have been completed.

New in Flirt 1.0.12 Build 136 (Nov 3, 2011)

  • This update fixes compatibility with recent Facebook changes to viewing people you may already know.
  • New in this update is the addition of a column in list mode for people that shows how many likes they have and also an option to match this data in smart folders.
  • Significant improvements to saving content from a wall have been completed. It's now possible to save only visible people that have liked or commented on a wall to a new folder (without having to download the entire history of the wall). You can also choose to like all visible posts and/or comments. Comment and like buttons now have a contextual menu associated with them that allows you to save the people who have commented/liked a post to a folder, or like all the comments (right-click or control-click to access it). It's safe to cancel a download in progress, any data already downloaded will be saved.
  • You can now view a list of people that have been invited to an event.
  • Data migration now shows it's progress, although it could use some improvements from Apple's side.

  • Fixes compatibility with recent Facebook changes to viewing friends and page likes.
  • New in this update is the ability to use variables in messages and wall posts.
  • Variables can be used to substitute the recipients name and more.
  • Also new is the ability to view people's likes in the main content area and filtering options for downloading likes.

  • This update fixes problems with viewing page fans and groups members. Event inviting has been updated with new API changes from Facebook. Wall posting has been fixed for certain odd ball profiles. Several scraping methods have been replaced with API methods.
  • It's now possible to attach links to messages (this is identical to how it works with wall posts).

  • Fixes migration problems on Mac OS X 10.6. Also fixed are problems with using Facebook as a page.
  • Per-account proxy settings have been added in this update for Pro users. To change the proxy settings for your account open the preferences in Flirt and choose Accounts then select the Proxies tab. You must use a secure proxy such as HTTPS or a SOCKS proxy that supports encryption because Flirt only uses secure connections when communicating with Facebook.
  • Build 120 fixes missing resources.

New in Flirt 1.0.7 (Sep 9, 2011)

  • This update now supports tracking and cancelation of sent friend requests.
  • Also included is a new PRO only feature that allows you to see who has unfriended you and the ability to send bulk friend requests using many different accounts. To enable bulk sending of friend requests you must go into the Account preferences and turn on “Allow aggregate sending” for each account you want to participate. When you send friend requests from an account that is participating in bulk sending the friend requests will automatically be split between all participating accounts. A common setup is to have all your promoting accounts participate in bulk sending but not your personal account.
  • This update fixes problems downloading “People You May Know”. Also fixed is an issue where automation would continue to try sending friend requests, posts or messages if your account was blocked.
