  • Melodic dictation: inserting tones with keyboard shortcuts now takes into account the selected note value.
  • Fixed login issue for users with Chinese selected as language
  • Solved in Interval Identification: if relative tone naming is chosen (e.g. solfege), wrong enharmonic spellings were sometimes used.
  • Solved in Rhythmic dictation: Tying a note could delete it.

  • The new EarMaster Jazz course includes hundreds of exercises for sight-singing and ear training (melodic dictation and melody sing-back). The lessons cover such topics as «Blues Scales and Blues Songs», «1920's American Swing Hits», «Ballads and Blues in Minor», «Novelty Songs and Rhythms», «Irish Ballads & Folk Music», «Fun with Irving Berlin», as well as a variety of Jazz and Blues all-time classics such as “After You've Gone”, “St. James Infirmary”, “Mandy”, “The Sheik of Arabia”, “At the Devil's Ball”, “Missouri Waltz” and many more.

  • Now also available in Norwegian Bokmål (except Courses)
  • Automatic transposition of voice input: sing in any octave in exercises with real-time voice input, regardless of the octave of the original melodies
  • New transposition option for custom exercises using the melody database: "No transposition" (keep the exact same pitches as the original score). When this setting is selected, the clef for each voice will also remain as defined by the original score.
  • When EarMaster chooses a clef for transposed questions, it now also considers the selected vocal range (i.e. if vocal range is set to "Bass", but the question is so high that it is in the G-clef range, it will now remain in the F-clef)
  • Minor facelift of the user interface
  • New pitch range presets: Piano, Guitar, Bass
  • The limit for the "Question replay" option has been increased from 3 to 10

  • Improved workflow when working with the melody database:
