May 21st, 2011Browser support update:
· The app requires the ability to obtain the current web browser's front window's URL so it can be imported automatically.
· Recent changes to Google Chrome broke the ability to do that, and it is now fixed (Supported web browsers currently are: Safari, Firefox, OmniWeb, Camino, Opera, Flock and Google Chrome.
January 30th, 2011· A new option has been added to Preferences labeled "Download All Images."
· When you select this option all images on the URL being imaged will be downloaded and saved into the output folder (which defaults to your Pictures folder if an output folder is not specified.)
January 22nd, 2011· The default directory has been changed from the Desktop to Pictures.
· The option "Always Prompt Me for Output Location" now defaults to "yes"
· The program is more robust. Service is contextual: the text must be a URL for it to be called as a service. Received URLs are internally checked to have scheme http or https to avoid the program hanging.
· Fixed a bug in the handling of the "get url" event where the received url was being truncated back to its host portion.
December 5th, 2010· When the program detects you are not connected to the internet an alert is displayed with the option to run network diagnostics (like Safari does) to solve the problem and get you reconnected.
· Updated the support for the Opera web browser. The last update to Opera broke the method of obtaining the URL of its front window for imaging.
June 9th, 2010· When the option to not overwrite files by the same name is selected in Preferences the new file is named using the original filename appended by a date and time format.
· This enables multiple same page images to be sorted chronologically using the name.
June 2nd, 2010· Fixed a problem that occurred on some websites in which the image would contain scroll bars due to an inadequate image size.
· The log displays the elapsed time for imaging when it is complete.
May 28th, 2010· Added support for the Google Chrome browser.
May 7th, 2010· Added support for Opera and Flock web browsers.
· Fixed compatibility with latest version of Firefox.
· When the filename is set to the title of the URL being imaged "html entities" (such as "&") are replaced appropriately.
October 9th, 2008· Added Danish localization.
April 2nd, 2008· Drag and drop into the status window is now supported.
· A new resources pane shows all the resources which were loaded to image the URL (akin to Safari's "Activity Window") The list of URLs can be copied and used for, say, import to a batch downloader such as Blue Crab, for individual retrieval.
· The "completion sound" (a harp) is now optional. You can turn this feature off in the preferences window.
· Previously the program would only image URLs that had a title in the HTML because it used the title to create the image filename. This is no longer the case and if a title is missing the program will name the image using the current date and the name of the program.
· Bug fix: it the title contained a colon the file would not be saved, because filenames are not allowed to have colons.
