Words can be sourced from existing (standard) WordFiles or entirely new words can be added manually, including recorded audio. Full access to this feature requires an In-App purchase.

New in Chinese FlashCards 1.0.7 (Sep 28, 2011)

  • Required exercises option.
  • Now user can choose to exclude particular exercises that are required to complete words in the learning list.
  • Exercise audio pronunciation feedback.
  • Users can select to play the word pronunciation after a feedback when doing exercises.
  • Sticky List implemented.
  • The "User Sticky List" function allows users to mark any word from any wordfile. This allows users to keep a list of words that need special attention. As long as a word remains marked as 'sticky' it will not be scored as correct in any of the exercises and will therefore not automatically move off the Learning List until the word is manually removed from the "Sticky List" by the user. Words can be marked as 'sticky' by tapping the grey star in the status box while reviewing words or while doing exercises. Once a word is 'sticky' the star will turn yellow.
