  • Templates! You can now save a page a template (Page -> Save as Template) which is then used as the default text for each new page created. Remove it from Preferences.
  • Some minor bug fixes.

New in Daily Jotter 1.6.0 (Apr 6, 2021)

  • The big news for this version is that Daily Jotter now supports Big Sur and fits into its lovely new look. Of course we also run natively on Apple Silicon Macs and have a shiny new icon! Daily Jotter also supports Dark Mode and there are a few bug fixes too.

  • Daily Jotter is now sandboxed. Consequently, the minimum version that it will run on is 10.7.3.
  • You can now set the default font name and size in the preferences.
  • New status bar showing the word count and "daily target word count". Show/Hide using Cmd+/ or via the view menu.
  • Three finger swipe on a Magic Trackpad will now change the current day.
  • Changed some of the toolbar icons for more consistency.
  • Implemented a lock system to avoid data loss when using Daily Jotter on multiple computers with a shared folder system.

  • Daily Jotter now only saves to disk if you pause typing for a short while.
