New in DNAStrider 1.55 Beta (Aug 13, 2008)
- Text size of sequence box and the label was changed to 11. The sequence box was adjust to the correct size so that the label will match the Nuclear Tide. This will not affect windows version since 1.54 was build in windows.
- Text size of translation output box was changed to 11.
- Icon did not show up in Mac version bug was fixed. The classic DNA Strider icon will now show up instead an empty box.
- The installation is changed to fit mac style. Library.rsd was included in the same folder as main application. The folder was included in an DMG image so that user only need to download one file. No new function was included in this release.

- Add print function to translation and restriction summary and restriction graphic. Add save function to Translation, restriction map graphic, restriction summary.
- Restriction map text is working in progress. Program still buggy, backup your file before try to open with DNAStrider alpha version. Library.rsd is required to be in same folder as DNAStrider program file. Mac version may have wrong size of textbox due to the realbasic limitation. I will have to find a mac and optimize the program on it. Current test are all based on windows version.
