This is how it works: turn Clip Revolver on in the preferences and then command-option-v pastes and empties the last clipboard. This can be set in the preferences.
  • [Add] A copy of the last used clip either copied or pasted can be at the top of the History stack, so you can paste it again and again. This can be set in the preferences.

  • [New] shorten URLs from the tools menu. An internet connection is required. There are several services available that shorten URLs. We used http://is.gd. We could use others. Try it out let us know what you think. Select some long URL like those for YouTube videos, hit the shorten URL tool to make it less then 20 characters. The address " http://www.scriptsoftware.com/copypaste" is shortened to " http://is.gd/qspE". This kind of thing is very handy for Twitter. More uses are in the manual.

  • [Mod] Now, If you delete all clips in an Archive or the History and restart the sample clips do not reappear. They only reappear if the folder structure for the Archives or the History does not exist anymore, which can only happen if you delete them manually.
  • [Mod] If you "archive all clips in History" the process does not simply stop after 43 clips (the max amount for an Archive) but instead a new Archive with an number increment is added to store the next bunch of clips.

If this is checked you can hit command double-V to locate the Clip Browser with the first Clip selected (without delay). If not checked a simple command v shows the browser (after delay), and the second V selects the second clip.

  • [Fix] Problem that after an unsuccessful copy by keyboard, the next copy did not get through into the Clip History.
  • [Mod] You can escape from the Browser called by keyboard without pasting if you type the c key. This also starts turning the browser, but if you release all keys the turning is interrupted and the pasting as well. we cannot use esc key for this, because it calls Front Row. All other keys are either used as hotkeys for the Archive or not practical. So try the c key to abort pasting.
