What's new in Bracketeer 4.3.4

May 19, 2011
  • Nothing new in app. Had do resubmit in order to add new localized languages to app store description.

New in Bracketeer 4.3.3 (Feb 15, 2011)

  • No changes to app, but had to resubmit a new update in order to change App Store Title.

New in Bracketeer 4.2.1 (Jan 21, 2010)

  • Fixed a problem where TIFF files with upper-case extensions (like .TIF and .TIFF) would be treated like they were not TIFF's. It now correctly recognizes these files with either uppercase or lowercase extensions. Also improved the error reporting on corrupt TIFF files which failed to Enfuse and previously gave no message.

New in Bracketeer 4.2 (Jan 18, 2010)

  • Added Blending Pyramid Reduction slider.
  • Very useful for improving the exposure of things like blown out windows.
  • Sometimes the exposure would look correct in Detail view, but not in Preview or the final Enfused image.
  • Tweaking this new slider will help correct that discrepancy.

New in Bracketeer 4.1 (Jan 12, 2010)

  • Enfusing times should be a little faster as Enfuse 4.0 is now threaded to use multiple processor cores.
  • Added Entropy Weight setting.
  • Added Contrast Min Curvature Value setting.
  • Added Entropy Window Size setting.
  • Added ability to set the output image bit-depth of 8, 16, or 32-bits (note: best to turn Preserve EXIF Data off when using this). It should be noted that 8-bit is still the recommended output bit-depth.

New in Bracketeer 4.0 Beta 4 (Oct 16, 2009)

  • As many of you know, Bracketeer broke with the release of Mac OS 10.6.
  • The only way to fix it was to completely rewrite it from scratch, and that's what version 4.0 is.
  • All of the features should be in and working now, but it hasn't been fully tested.
  • So, here is the beta release of Bracketeer 4.0!
