For example, username, password, email, name and organisation can be managed in the LDAP Directory Server while other web content management system user data are managed in the internal web content management system user database.

General:
All administration pages use resizable/closable panels for the header, footer and left-hand menus. Click and drag the light-gray handles/bars below the header, above the footer and next to the left-hand menus to open/close and resize the panels.
Login:
The login page has been cleaned up with no display of the toolbar sections until after login.
All administration display the logged in username in the center of the header.
Personal Workspace:
The Personal Workspace has default sections for "checked out", "updated unpublished", "new unpublished", "expired" and "workflow" content items.
The Personal Workspace sections to be displayed and their order is customisable for all administrators (Configuration / Features / Content Editing / Index Pages / Personal Workspace Sections) and for individual administrators (User Database / Administrators / Administrator Preferences / Personal Workspace Sections). Configuration options can be used to define which sections to display and in which order.
The Personal Workspace can also be customized to display usage statistics reports sections for all or individual administrators using the custom Usage Statistics reports codes as described below.
Additional configuration options can also be used to define which data columns to be displayed for each content item.
The Personal Workspace sections display the same content item data columns as configured for your Website Content for all
administrators (Configuration / Features / Content Editing / Index Pages Columns / Website Content) and for individual administrators (User Database / Administrators / Administrator Preferences / Index Pages Columns / Website Content).
Search:
The basic Search functionality has been improved to also search for content item ids and with additional administration options to publish and move etc. the searched content items.
Advanced Search functionality has been added with options to search for given content class, bundle, group, type, version, status and package content items.
The Search and Replace functionality has been improved with highlighting, line numbers and column positions as well as one-step handling of searches with overlapping contexts.
Browse & Edit:
The Browse & Edit mode has been changed to use toolbar drop-down menus for the editable content items/attributes as default instead of the previous black-box outlines. The editable content items/attributes can be edited and published directly in Browse & Edit mode through the Edit and Publish toolbar drop-down menu items; and Admin and Add New toolbar drop-down menu items can be used to open the full administration pages for the content items.
The Outline toolbar drop-down menu items can be used to "black-box" and "white-box" the editable content items/attributes on the web page as used in previous versions of the web content management system.
Website Structure:
The previous Website Structure administration pages have been completely replaced with a new Website Structure toolbar section and new dynamically unfolding page hierarchy functionality suitable for handling large websites - simply unfold the sections/pages to be reorganised and drag and drop the pages to update their page relations (when saved).
If the micro-websites functionality is used there will also be left-hand menu items for the different micro-websites and their default pages.
Website Content - Menus:
Additional website structure left-hand menu items for the default website as well as eventual micro-websites has been added. These can be used to unfold the general website structure to navigate to the pages to be updated etc. as an alternative to using the old (and still existing) content group/type etc. left-hand menu items.
Content groups and types can be organised hierarchically (Configuration / Content/Image/Files/Links/Products / Groups / Parent Group Menu) (Configuration / Content/Image/Files/Links/Products / Types / Parent Type Menu) for multi-level content group/type left-hand menu items. Please note that the content group/type hierarchy is only used for the administration pages left-hand menu items - access restrictions etc. are NOT inherited between parent-child content groups/types.
Workflow status menu items as well as an Expiring menu item has been added to/under the Status left-hand menu items.
A new Content Bundle attribute (Configuration / Features / Content Categories / Enable Content Bundles) has been added for content items along with new Bundle left-hand menu items. The new Content Bundle can be used as an alternative and supplement to the content groups, types and packages. All administrators can add new Content Bundles simply by entering a new Content Bundle name for a content item. Content Bundles can be used to categorise content items across multiple content classes, groups, types, packages and workflows for easy access to related content items.
As default combinations of different left-hand menu items can be selected such as for example a group and a type and a status etc. to only list content items that are of both that group and type and status. The top-level Content, Pages and Elements left-hand menu items can be selected to clear all the lower-level menu item selections. Optionally, the web content management system can be configured to use selection of single left-hand menu items as default as used in previous versions (Configuration / Features / Content Editing / Index Pages / Index Pages Menus). Multiple revisions of the content item can be scheduled to be published at different dates/times and the different scheduled revisions of a content item can be accessed and managed similar to how archived revisions of a content item are accessed and managed.
The Status column displays expanded status details including a new "unpublished" status for unpublished content items.
The columns and links used on the administration index pages are customisable for all (Configuration / Features / Content Editing / Index Pages / Index Pages Columns / Website Content) as well as for individual administrators (User Database / Administrators / Administrator Preferences / Index Pages Columns / Website Content) - columns can be added, removed, reordered and resized. For example, the new single, integrated View/Update/Delete(/Add New) administration page/link can be replaced with separate View, Update and Delete links as used in previous versions of the web content management system. Your own custom links can also be defined to integrate links to your own custom modules and external web services and systems.
Bundle attributes has been added at the bottom of the administration index pages to move individual and multiple content items to a given content bundle.
Scheduled Publish and Expire attributes has been added at the bottom of the administration index pages for publishing of individual and multiple content items.
Optionally, access to scheduled content items can be restricted to specific classes of administrators to keep scheduled content items confidential until they are published. Access to scheduled content items can be restricted to administrators with "Update", "Create", "Publish", "Developers", or "Administrators" access permissions for the content items (Configuration / Features / Access Restrictions / Scheduled Content Items / All/Editors/Developers/Creators/Publishers/Administrators).
Website Content - Admin/Create/View/Update/Delete Pages:
As default a new single, integrated View/Update/Delete(/Add New) administration page is used for content items with access to view or update the content as well as with buttons to "Add New" (copy), "Unpublish" and "Delete" the content item all from the same administration page. Optionally, the separate View, Update and Delete administration pages as used in previous versions of the web content management system are also available as described above.
Optionally, "Add New" can clear the copied content item's workflow status (Configuration / Features / Access Restrictions / Add New Content Items With Copied~Blank Workflow Status).
Optionally, multiple revisions of the same content item can be scheduled for publishing at different dates/times (Configuration / Features / Publishing / Disable~Enable scheduled publishing queue). A "Schedule" checkbox has been added next to the "Publish" checkbox to publish the content item to the scheduled publishing queue. Scheduled revisions of a content item can be accessed and managed through the "Scheduled" icon/link on the administration index pages. This way multiple copies of the same content item can be scheduled to be published at different dates/times in the future - for example to gradually reveal more information or to count down to an event.
Unpublished attributes have been added to the Revision History tab with details of when and by whom a content item was unpublished.
Multiple-levels of Templates are supported through selection of another Template on the Content Presentation tab for Templates. For example, to use a single website-wide template wrapped around different templates for different sections of the website.
A new Content Bundle attribute (Configuration / Features / Content Categories / Enable Content Bundles) has been added to the Content Categories tab for non-superadmin, ad hoc categorisation of related content items within groups/types and across different groups/types and for workflow bundles etc. All administrators have access to define their own Content Bundles with easy access to the different content bundle content items through the Bundle left-hand menu items.
Support for custom tabs when viewing/updating a content item has been added to the custom module programming API. Using the simple custom module programming API and standard HTML and Javascript the content item being viewed/updated can be posted to your own custom modules and third-party applications and services. For example, custom tabs can be added for SEO analysis using Google AdSense/AdWords and other SEO services as well as for other types of services.

Added .NET programming language version. Please note that v6.9.x will be the last releases of the classic ASP programming language version. Starting with v7.0 the classic ASP programming language version will be deprecated and replaced by the .NET programming language version. So you need to upgrade your classic ASP programming language version to the .NET programming language version now or when v7.0 is released. Upgrading from classic ASP to .NET should be straightforward - simply install the .NET version and configure it to use your existing database.
