View STL Files

STL is a CAD format created to store CAD stereo-lithography, a three-dimensional technique capable of converting image files to solid virtual objects.

The STL format is used for this process in order to permit the generated CAD models to be viewed using 3rd party CAD applications.

Usually, STL files are created to describe raw unstructured triangulated surfaces using a 3D Cartesian coordinate system.

Users need to select and use a compatible app with built-in support for the STL format whenever they want to view their STL files.

Additionally, STL viewers may also be used for exporting their STL file to other graphic formats.
