Prayer Reminders Apps and Alternatives

Athan, also known as azan or adhān, a term used for the Islamic call to prayer, usually recited by the muezzin.

There is also another term frequently used, namely the Qiblah (often transliterated as Qiblih or Kiblah) which depicts the direction a Muslim is supposed to face while praying.

Islam's formal prayer is called Salāt or Salāh, and it is a ritual action, as it is to be performed only at predefined times during each day.

Prayer reminders are aplications that meant to remind Muslims the exact times they need to pray and/or the location of the Qiblah.

Furthermore, some of these apps also feature specific sounds that will try to recreate the atmosphere from a mosque during prayer times.
