Make RAS Files

RAS (acronym for Sun Raster Graphic) is a graphics raster format developed and used by Sun Microsystems. The RAS format supports multiple values of bits per pixel (e.g. 1, 8, 24 or 32 bits).

Users may compress their RAS image files using the RLE graphics compression algorithm.

When and if users want to create their own RAS images, they have to convert their regular images to RAS using an image converter app that features support for this specific graphics format.
