Make PNG Files

PNG (short for Portable Network Graphic) is a raster image format that features a compressed bitmap of indexed colors. The PNG format does not require any patent licenses, as opposed to GIF.

Because GIF files have restricted color support, the PNG format aims to enhance it. Furthermore, PNG comes with a built-in a transparency channel that permits colors to fade from opaque to transparent and vice versa, unlike GIF that has only opaque or transparent pixels.

When and if they want to create a PNG file, users will need to select and use a graphic app that features support for this particular image format.

Image converters allow their users to customize the saturation, brightness, and contrast of the source image files, while also enabling them to quickly resize and rotate theirimages according to their needs, before exporting them to PNG.
