Create PNG Files

PNG (standing for Portable Network Graphic) is a graphics format consisting of a lossless compressed bitmap of indexed colors. Unlike GIF, the PNG format requires no patent license.

The GIF format is limited to restricted color support, and PNG was developed to increase it. PNG files also includes 8-bit transparency channels enabling the colors to fade from opaque to transparent and vice versa, as opposed to GIFs that support either opaque or transparent pixels.

PNG files may be easily created using image converters, that will allow their users to quicklye encode their pictures to the PNG graphics format.

Additionally, users will be able to modify the source image by cropping, rotating, or resizing it before converting it to PNG.
