Convert JPF Files

JPF is a raster format created as a replacement for the discrete cosine transform-based JPEG method (typically used for encoding JPEG images) with the wavelet compression algorithm.

Because JPF files are stored using either lossless or lossy compression, users will have to keep this in mind when they want to convert them to other graphic formats.

JPF is a successor to the JPEG format and comes with support for image transparency, and additional metadata information describing the contents of the image file.

Users usually convert their JPF files to other graphic formats to be able to open and edit them using a larger array of apps.
