EPS (acronym for Encapsulated PostScript) is a graphic file format that will usually contain 2D vector data, images and text. EPS files are usually used for sharing graphic data between different operating systems because EPS files can be encapsulated within another PostScript item.
Because EPS format is not widely supported by graphic utilities, users will often convert their EPS imge files to other formats.
One might also use EPS converters as image viewers, because these apps will also allow their users to preview their images before converting them.
Users will also have the option to select the destination file format they want for their EPS files.
