DVD2Pod - Rip your DVDs into an iPod compatible format

Based upon HandBrake, DVD2Pod is the easiest way to rip your DVDs into an iPod compatible format.

Here are some key features of "DVD2Pod":

￭ Rename: use this to rename the DVD title (which is used in the filename and iTunes). The name is saved and used again for that same DVD.
￭ Title: select the title to use (the longest title is chosen automatically by default). All chapters are used for the selected title.
￭ Optimize: select iPod for watching on the iPod, and TV for video output.
￭ Output directory: choose which directory the file will be outputted to. Desktop is default
￭ Send to iTunes when complete: the final result will be sent to your iTunes library when the conversion is complete


Notes/warnings:
￭ When converting a large title (over an hour or two), it will say 100% at the end, but it really isn't complete until it changes to "Done". This is a bug with HandBrake, and will be fixed if/when HandBrake is fixed too.
￭ If a title on the DVD isn't listed, or a title doesn't convert, there's nothing I can really do as it's most likely a problem with HandBrake.
