    PdaNet description

Browse the web from your Mac with the help of your iPhone

PdaNet, made hugely popular with Windows Mobile and PalmOS, is now released for the iPhone. PdaNet allows your laptop (or desktop) to go online wirelessly by connecting it to your iPhone through Wifi. PdaNet goes through the unlimited data plan on your phone and does not require any extra service.

To use - simply set up an AdHoc network on your Mac or PC (on Mac, just go to the WiFi meter in your status bar and hit "Create Network"). Then join it on the iPhone, and launch PdaNet on the iPhone! Done... now start browsing from your Mac!

NOTE: Be careful because this uses a lot of battery life. Therefore keep your iPhone plugged in to stay juiced up.

    · iPhone
