TableEdit for Mac
TableEdit is a simple, clean and intuitive Mac OS X application that enables you to easily edit spreadsheets from within an elegant user interface.
Helps you edit and export spreadsheets
TableEdit features a minimalistic and user-oriented design heavily inspired by Apple’s Pages application, with similar buttons, icons and even functions.
Unfortunately, TableEdit does not provide as many features and tools as the above mentioned app.
On the bright side, TableEdit is very easy to install and use, and enables you to quickly import and export data from and to CSV files.
The top toolbar offers instant access to a couple of handy functions, tools and features.
Quickly insert the needed function
As follows, the Table slide sheet makes it easy for your to adjust the table size by increasing or decreasing the total number of rows and columns. It is worth mentioning that during this process you can lose data from deleted rows or columns.
On the bad side, TableEdit does not have a Chart feature yet, however, TableEdit is in its early development and it is expected to have this feature pretty soon. Until then, you can take advantage of the Function feature and effortlessly insert and use the needed functions with just a couple of mouse clicks.
Change text and table format with ease
By accessing the Format slide sheet, you have the option to change the cell data format, use different currencies and group data based on your needs. At the same time TableEdit enables you to adjust the cell background style and use different colors, as well as different fonts, text alignment, font size and color.
The File menu helps you open or import data from various files and export your work to CSV, XLS or XLSX files using the desired text delimiter and text encoding when exporting to CSV files.
