Sidekick is a Mac OS X menu bar item for AppleWorks 6. Sidekick makes AppleWorks easier to use, helping you to be more productive.
Now you can quickly access many of AppleWorks features from a single point without cluttering your Dock with icons or searching through the Finder for frequently used documents.
Without opening AppleWorks, you can create new documents and open recent items. You can also search web sites from within AppleWorks or quickly start companion programs.

· Search Google, online encylopaedias, an online dictionary or an online thesaurus from a word processing document.
· Speed up AppleWorks by automatically removing recent items.
· Quickly launch Apple's iWork applications, Pages and Keynote.
· Start the Classic version of AppleWorks 6 (if installed).
· Reset AppleWorks to its factory state.
· Find AppleWorks tips and help by opening popular Apple and third-party web sites.
· Launch applications including Pages, Keynote, Address Book and Calculator.
· Universal Binary ready for Intel and PowerPC Macs.
