MultiScape For Mac

MultiScape is a minimalist macOS application that offers you the possibility to put the same image on multiple screens. Just drag and drop the picture on top of the app’s main window, and MultiScape takes care of the rest.

Even though the project is no longer under development and has not been active for quite some time, MultiScape still works on the latest macOS version.

If you have multiple screens connected to the same Mac computer, finding wallpapers that look good together can be a challenge.

At the same time, if you decide to use the same image on both screens, you need to spend time scaling and cropping the picture to fit both screens and still look acceptable.

MultiScape reduces all that to a single drag and drop movement: you will be able to preview the desktop image in the app’s main window, together with the original and scaled image size.

Take into account that MultiScape will make the necessary adjustments in real time so you will be able to see the changes on your screens almost instantly.

On the other hand, there is no undo option, and the change will remain even after you close the MultiScape application, so if you want to revert to your previous wallpaper settings, you need to do so manually.

Bottom line, MultiScape is a simple utility that will automatically scale and crop a wallpaper image and distribute the pieces to all your screens with minimal user intervention.

Keep in mind though that the MultiScape project has not been updated for quite some time and, even though it works on El Capitan, there is no guarantee that it will run on the next macOS version.
