ShiftIt is a tool which makes it easier for you to manipulate window position and its size using customizable keyboard shortcuts.

Simple and very easy to use, ShiftIt will help you organize your windows in a snap. ShiftIt can be accessed at any given time from the menu bar.

It allows you to select the action you wish to perform right after performing a single click.

On top of that, you can easily enable and disable the menu bar icon as well as increase or reduce the window size if you want to.

Moreover, the application allows you to enable anchors, which basically define margins of a screen.

ShiftIt also provides you with the means to enable debug logging, a feature suitable for expert users.

If you need to enable the windows cycling sizes feature with multiple hotkey presses, you will have to run the following command in a Terminal window:

defaults write org.shiftitapp.ShiftIt multipleActionsCycleWindowSizes YES
