Screenflick is a small, unobtrusive and smooth-running Mac OS X application that makes it easy for your to create screencasts.

Easily capture everything that takes place on your Mac’s desktop

Thanks to Screenflick you can capture the audio and video from your Mac and create high-quality recordings of app training sessions, application or website demos, play sessions and more.

Screenflick’s ability to capture and display mouse clicks and keyboard strokes make it ideal for most desktop recordings.

Moreover, promises to capture video at up to 60 fps and, as a result, you can use it to record your gaming sessions without concerns for quality loss or frame drops.

On top of that, Screenflick is designed to run from your Mac’s status bar from where you have the option to start the recording process and access the Preferences window.

Define the capture area and change camera modes

Screenflick allows you to choose the part of the screen you need to capture by offering a couple of predefined selection presets. At the same time, Screenflick offers you the option to manually type in the width and height of the recording area.

The Preferences window helps you change the default video options, adjust the capture rate and scale, and allows you to choose the audio source. Furthermore, Screenflick allows you to change the predefined keyboard shortcuts for pause and start features, as well as for the camera modes.

Hide your desktop and replace it with a picture

You can hide Screenflick completely by toggling the menu bar and Dock icon, and by hiding the countdown and other features. Additionally, Screenflick is capable to hide your Desktop and cover it with your background image, an picture of your choice or fill color.

By accessing the Advanced tab under the Preferences window, you’ll be able to adjust the recording quality and enable Screenflick to capture at full resolution on MacBooks with Retina displays.
