CLWeather For Mac

CLWeather is a small Mac OS X application that offers you the possibility to visualize the weather forecast for the next 5 days, for different cities all over the world. The app also places the current temperature and weather status in your status bar.

Right off the bat, within the CLWeather main window you must select the locations you want the application to monitor: the utility provides support for a large number of cities, located in different countries.

You can simply navigate the cities list by country, or you can make use of the built-in minimalist search bar to find specific entries in no time. Note that you can perform searches only in the currently active field: for example, you cannot find a certain city without first opening the appropriate country menu.

Within the CLWeather’s main panel you can easily navigate between panels that display weather info for each city added to the monitoring list. In each case, you will also be able to see details about the current date, day of the week, the longitude and latitude parameters, or the city’s timezone.

Of course, each panel also provides data about the current weather conditions, such as: the temperature, the humidity level, and the wind speed. In the bottom area, you will also find the weather conditions and temperature levels for the next 5 days.

Working with the CLWeather application proves to be fairly intuitive thanks to its minimalist design: the monitored cities list can be managed via a small menu, and you can navigate between the weather panels associated to each city by using arrow buttons.

Via the Settings panel you can easily adjust the refresh rate, or you can change the temperature unit. However, take into account that the developer does not provide info about the weather forecast source.
