A simple and organized application that offers you the possibility to preview the feed from your DVR cameras in real time, on your own Mac.
The first thing you need to do after launching the vMEye app is to quickly set up new devices. Press the add button from the bottom of the List panel and input the DVR device name, the IP address and the available connection port. For a secure connection, you must also use an username/password combination.
Depending on your DVR model, you must specify the number of available channels. vMEye allows you to view the feed of up to 4 different cameras at the same time, in windowed or in full screen mode.
If you press on the device name in the list panel, vMEye will automatically display the first 4 channels in the list. However, you can quickly access other cameras and change their order by pressing on a screen slot and then double clicking on the channel’s name.
The vMEye Panel are offers you the possibility to control the cameras: move up/down/left/right, zoom in or out and more. You can also quickly capture screenshots and browse them in the Snap-shot area.
vMEye will prove to be very useful if you want to remotely connect to your DVR device and preview the video feed captured by your security cameras.
