IPeekCam uses your Mac’s built-in iSight camera and provides a web portal that’s available 24 hours a day. All you have to do is to point your Mac’s camera to the area you want to monitor and then log into the ipeekcam.com web app to view what’s being captured in realtime. For instance, it can be used to keep a close eye on your kids or just to check if anyone has entered your home.

Before being able to use the web portal, you need to create an account, and use Safari on a Mac or Firefox from a PC. All you need is these browsers and access to the online surveillance service. What’s more, you can also log into your ipeekcam.com account on the road from mobile devices and tablets.

IPeekCam comes with various advanced security functions, such as automatic recording, email notification, night vision and DVR support. All these features, plus the ability to check your Mac’s camera remotely, make iPeekCam a versatile surveillance tool.

iPeekCam comes with an intuitive and easy-to-use user interface comprised of an upper toolbar, the main surveillance area and additional panels. The upper bar provides shortcuts to the connection settings, preferences and the window to add a new IP camera.

Moreover, the surveillance section provides live footage of the monitored areas. You  can have 4 different views at the same time. iPeekCam also offers some flexibility in configuring the video capture by changing the color mode, resolution quality and more.
