VidConvert For Mac

VidConvert is an easy-to-use Mac OS X application that provides the required tools to trim, crop, resize and convert video files quickly and effortlessly.

With VidConvert you can convert a wide variety of file formats and create videos compatible with your iPhone or iPad, Apple TV, various mobile devices or gaming consoles. You just have to drag and drop your video files, select the desired format and quality and initiate the conversion process.

The Format slide menu helps you choose the appropriate encoding profile or file format, while the “Quality” menu allows you to switch between the “normal” and “high quality” level. On top of that, you can set the output folder to a location of your choice or the same folder as the source file.

The top toolbar helps you add or remove files from the queue list, open the Info panel, access the Advanced window and the Preview window. Consequently, you can preview your file before conversion and view detailed information about the selected file in the Info window.

The Info window offers information about the container like the format, size, length and bit rate, the used video codec and more. You can also check the video resolution, aspect ration and bitrate along with the audio codec and sample rate.

By accessing the Advanced window, you can gain control over the encoding process. In other words, you can manually select the desired audio and video codec, set the frame rate and bit rate, crop the image, adjust its size and trim the video.

VidConvert is also capable to fix audio synchronization issues, join videos, deinterlace them and copy subtitles. When you are happy with your settings and cuts, you can start the conversion process and enjoy the resulting video.
