Sizzle 0.5 Beta 2
A classic Mac OS X application for DVD authoring and creating mount disks from MPEG-2 video streams and AC3 or MPEG Layer-II audio files
The Sizzle application can open MPEG-2 video clips and, together with AC3 or MPEG Layer-II audio files, it can create disk images. In their turn, the resulting disk images can be burned using a disk burning utility on a CD or DVD.
Furthermore, after adding a title to your DVD / CD disk, you will need to open an MPEG-2 clip. After selecting and opening the file, Sizzle will find the first MPEG-2 video stream in the file, analyze the format of the MPEG-2 clip, look for any DVD-compatible audio streams in the file and then it will name the DVD / CD according to the name of the file you've opened.
Sizzle features an easy-to-use graphical user interface which takes advantage of OS X's intuitive standard layout. From the upper toolbar, you can add or remove titles, add, remove or edit buttons or save as document or as disk image the current project.
Moreover, you will be able to customize the title from the main window (by changing its name, video aspect ratio, format and system or by adjusting the menu background color).
Also from the main window, you can add audio tracks, subtitles and create chapters for the video you added to your DVD.
As said, you can add and edit buttons to your DVD. The buttons can be moved to any area of the DVD and various actions can be assigned to them (resume movie, jump to menu, jump to chapter and more).
