PiP3 For Mac

PiP2 (Picture in Picture 2) is a Mac OS X application which is able to display the video captured by your web camera on your screen. The advantage of using PiP2 is that it provides a variety of frames for the video and other options, including transition effects.

The application provides 2 interfaces: the one where you can monitor what is in front of your Mac’s built-in camera (or connected camera) and the menu bar panel which includes all the available options.

PiP2 can come in handy during presentations, when creating screencasts and in other activities where you want to explain how something works in realtime. For instance, you are filming an electronic device and want the whole room to see which components on that device you are pointing out.

PiP2 comes with keyboard shortcut support, the ability to select the source camera, options to flip and mirror the image, various effects (kaleidoscope, sepia tone, zoom blur, bloom, gloom, etc.), as well as several different frames.

In addition to this, PiP2 enables you to integrate the camera video into your Keynote presentation. Note that before doing so, you might want to toggle the option in Keynote’s preferences that enables Expose, Dashboard and others to use screen.

Taking everything into consideration, PiP2 can be a great application if you use it for educational purposes during presentations. It displays the video captured by a connected camera in a user-defined window on your screen.

What’s more, the built in controls and video effects enable you to quickly switch the point of view, to add frames, of to apply image effects.
