NicePlayer for Mac
NicePlayer is a straightforward multimedia player specially designed to help you watch movies and create custom playlists for continuous playback.
Video artists, as well as casual viewers can use NicePlayer to display videos and watch video clips or films. NicePlayer comes with a borderless floating window that you can easily resize and place anywhere on your main or secondary screens.
On top of that, NicePlayer features intuitive keyboard shortcuts that you can use to play or pause the footage, skim through the video and create playlists on the fly. The context menu also helps you play or pause the video, adjust the volume, change the play order, jump to the next or previous file, switch between plug-in engines and change the video and audio tracks.
The Playlist Drawer helps you add or remove files from your lists, repeat the entire list or only one file and shuffle the play order. From the File menu you can easily open files or URL streams and save your playlist.
Adjustable playback window
By accessing the Presentation menu, you can quickly enable the full screen mode and change the window size to pre-defined seizes. Hence, you can increase or decrease the size of the window to half, normal or double the original size or make it fill the entire screen. These shortcuts can prove useful when displaying your work on external monitors.
The Preferences window helps you change NicePlayer’s behavior, customize the mouse button functions and enable the support for the Apple Remote.
In conclusion, NicePlayer is a simple and clean video player that can help you display your work thanks to its minimalist interface and intuitive controls. However, we would have appreciated NicePlayer even more if it feature support for AirPlay enabled devices.
