MovieCaptioner allows you to add captions to your QT videos in no time.
Simply import the movie you want to process and start adding your captions in the text area: MovieCaptioner will use time stamps to remember their location.
MovieCaptioner also allows you to import and edit transcripts, spellcheck the content, customize the captions appearance (font size or color) and the background color.
The MovieCaptioner app also gives you the possibility to preview the result before actually exporting to different formats.
System requirements
- QuickTime Pro 7.0 or later required for embedding caption tracks (not required for creating transcripts, SMIL, or Flash XML files, etc.)
- Adobe Flash CS3 required for creating Flash movies that use XML captions.
- Flip4Mac plugin (free) required for loading Windows Media movies to create SAMI captions.
- Perian plugin (free) for QT required for loading FLV movies.
- ClosedCaptionImporter plugin for QT
