If your TV show episodes look messy, with no relevant metadata or covers, you are in need of a tool that can help sort things out as soon as possible.
MetaTV is such an application, created to allow Mac users to add metadata and cover images to their TV shows' episodes with a mouse click.
MetaTV comes with built-in support for the MPEG4-standard formats .mp4 and .m4v.
To use MetaTV for fixing your videos' metadata you have to load your episodes, search for the TV show, choose the season you're videos are a part of and click the Copy button.
Now, your TV shows will look OK in any iTunes playlist and you will no longer avoid browsing your Movies library in thumbnail mode.
NOTE: To buy MetaTV via the App Store an Apple account is required.
