MacCaption is a tool that encodes captions onto video without going down a generation.
MacCaption requires a fully prepared, time coded caption file from another source, such as the CaptionMaker (Windows) or MacCaption (Macintosh), Cheetah (*.asc) among others.
With MacCaption you can easily enhance your video by adding a close caption.

Requirements:
· QuickTime 7 or later
Limitations:
· Can work with only 20 to 30 captions.
· Can not save the file.
· Random characters are replaced by question marks in AutoSync or Export modes.
