Macgo Mac Blu-ray Player for Mac
The popularity of Blu-ray discs is increasing due to the fact that this medium is able to store a lot more information than a DVD, hence you have the possibility to transfer media that has a significant higher quality.
Playing Blu-ray discs on your Mac requires a player device but also specific software that can deal with this type of encoding. Macgo Mac Blu-ray Player is such an application, but keep in mind that is also able to deal with other media file formats.
Simple user interface and full screen support
Macgo Mac Blu-ray Player's main window provides all the usual tools one should expect from a media player: the main area is reserved for the video content, on the bottom you can see the controller buttons while in the bottom right corner you get to adjust the volume.
Of course, Macgo Mac Blu-ray Player also provides a timeline slider bar that allows you to quickly jump to any location within the video and shows you the playback progress. Moreover, Macgo Mac Blu-ray Player allows you to play the video in full screen mode.
Play all types of media files
Macgo Mac Blu-ray Player is able to deal with video, audio or image files and can be used to open most popular file formats, such as MOV, MKV, AVI, FLV, WMV, MP4, MPEG, RMVB, MP3, WMA, AAC, AC3 and more.
Furthermore, the Macgo Mac Blu-ray Player can open ISO files and folders: simply use the “Open File” button placed in the app’s main window. Last but not least, the player is capable of rendering high quality videos, going up to 1080p, while preserving the video and audio tracks intact.
Intuitive media player with Blu-ray support
Macgo Mac Blu-ray Player has what it takes to play Blu-ray discs and ISO files and folders, but may also deal with more conventional video and audio file formats. Unfortunately, during our test we have encountered some compatibility issues when trying to playback Blu-ray discs.
