ClipHouse For Mac

ClipHouse is a powerful and well-organized Mac OS X application that makes it easy to work with RAW video files from various cameras. The app implements a 4-stage workflow that consists of copying, managing, coloring and exporting your raw footage.

What’s more, ClipHouse provides support for all DVRs and cameras which produce CinemaDNG RAW files. In addition to this, it can also handle Canon EOS devices that use MagicLantern firmware to create RAW videos - Ikonoskop: A-Cam, Kinefinity: KineRAW S-35 and Blackmagic Design, to name a few.

As mentioned previously, ClipHouse provides users with a streamlined workflow divided into 4 stages, or ‘rooms’. The first one allows you to copy media from your camera volumes on your Mac. Just add them and the app will automatically detect available footage.

In the “Organize” room, you can navigate the RAW video library you have created via simple and smart folders (i.e. with metadata or graded). Videos can also be played in this room and the metadata information (clip, user, timecode, exposure, format and files) is also available.

In the Color room, users can modify the appearance of the clips using various grades. For instance, you can apply effects with one click (black and white, bleach, etc.) and adjust several basic visual attributes, such as exposure, temperature, tint or saturation.

Finally, the “Export” room can be used after all clips have been dealt with. In this stage, you can convert your RAW camera media files to H.264 or QuickTime ProRes formats in custom size, including full high-definition. You can also select the debayering type.

In a nutshell, ClipHouse offers a straightforward and easy-to-use workspace for copying, organizing, adjusting and converting RAW video footage from a variety of cameras. Each step can be completed within seconds and no expert knowledge is required.
